Fix First.
AI makes a broken workflow fail faster. Three steps to fix the process before you automate anything.

Should you automate a process that is already broken?
Fix the process first. AI may accelerate tasks, but it does not automatically resolve unclear ownership, missed handoffs, or missing quality standards.
How to put this into practice
Map the real workflow, identify the cause of delays or errors, and define ownership and escalation. Only then select suitable AI tasks such as summarizing, drafting, extraction, or supervised classification.
Example
If sales leads sit unassigned for days, solve routing and service-level ownership before investing in faster AI-written follow-up emails.
