What does AI fluency mean beyond learning a specific tool?

AI fluency is the judgment and process needed to use changing tools effectively. EZ Enablement describes seven layers: task selection, context, verification, iteration, responsible use, limitations, and judgment.

How to put this into practice

Start by choosing an appropriate task. Supply context, check the output, improve it, protect sensitive information, understand limitations, and keep people accountable for the decision.

Example

For a contract summary, AI can flag clauses for review, but a person must verify the extracted text and qualified counsel should resolve legal interpretation.
